There
are two kinds of research paper sites that claim to 'help'
students. One provides prewritten papers, while the other
encourages you to use someone else's paper as your own.
These sites have a steady stream of customers, which is
growing day by day. The increase in numbers is a worrying
fact for teachers who find it hard to distinguish between
original and pirated papers. We contacted some teachers
and asked them for their views. They came up with different
theories which might prove valuable for you, some of which
are given below:

These sites are destroying students' creativity more than
anything else. As a teacher, I believe that students should
be given some points before starting their projects. This
way, they will know the preparation format and compile a
correct, grade-winning research paper instead of a copied,
disorganized, low-grade paper."

Ethically, these sites are doing wrong. They know that there
is no legal solution to their act and that is what encourages
them to trap as many students as possible. What is the solution
to this problem? Teachers should make students believe in
themselves and check their work at every stage instead of
a final check. This way, the students would know that the
teachers are caring and the teachers would know that the
students are doing the right thing."

" In the past, students used to take advice from their
teachers and consulted libraries while nowadays, Internet
is their only resource, They just go online, search for
a website where online papers can either be bought, ordered,
or downloaded for free, and use them as their very own term
paper. This is wrong and as a teacher, I believe that these
students should not get marks in their assignment. The students
should ask us if they are having a problem and we are always
there to help them. It is just the misunderstanding between
the two parties that is helping these pro-plagiarism sites."

I was an internet lover and believed that it was a helping
resource for students. But the advent of sites that claim
to provide genuine research papers made me change my mind.
These sites hold students responsible of cheating whereas
the truth is that they are on the wrong path. We teachers
face a lot of problems while checking the assignments because
most of the papers the students get are badly-written and
have a lot of grammatical mistakes. God bless the students!"
